Another cold winter day in Cleveland, OH is winding down.  So is the journey for those on board this westbound Regional Transit Authority (RTA) train, as the end of the Red Line (Cleveland Hopkins Airport) is just a few thousand feet down the track.  I had just gotten off this train after spending a portion of the day at Tower City Center in downtown Cleveland.  Upon exiting the aging stainless steel ‘airporter’ transit car, I noticed an eastbound Norfolk Southern train lumbering its way toward the station platform.  The timing was going to be perfect, so I waited at the edge of the platform between the two RTA tracks. As the Red Line train departed, I grabbed the shot.  Whether transporting goods or people, trains impact the lives of everyone every day, both directly and indirectly.  Since 2016, a brand new elevated station has replaced the old Brook Park Rapid Transit Station, making this shot no longer possible, and to me all the more special.
